BARR/CHANNEL IN SDK
BARR/CHANNEL-IN SDK is a Software Development Kit (SDK) for fiber-optic ESCON® or parallel Bus & Tag channel solutions. We also have a BARR/CHANNEL-OUT SDK .
The BARR/CHANNEL-IN SDK supplies all of the hardware and software to enable PC-based server applications to be directly channel-attached to the mainframe. The applications that can implement and benefit from the product are those that require bi-directional, high-speed, mainframe-to-server data transfer capabilities.
The SDK provides software developers with the tools to build device drivers that emulate virtually any S/370 or S/390® channel-attached device. The SDK package includes sample source code and library files you can use to build a fully functional 3211 emulator. This source code serves as a starting point for developing virtually any device emulator.
