Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, performs complex development programming and analysis activities that may require extensive research

• Must work as an effective team member

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

• Very strong programming and debugging skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Demonstrates initiative and ability to work independently and do independent research

• With a B.S. degree it typically takes 6-9 years of systems programming or equivalent work experience for those with the required abilities to become a Senior Systems Programmer.

• With a M.S. degree it typically takes 4-6 years of systems programming or equivalent work experience for those with the required abilities to become a Senior Systems Programmer.

Preferences

Experience in the following areas:

• Visual C++ including MFC, Win32 API and Graphical User Interface

• .NET and C#

• Data communications

Software Engineer

Responsibilities

Under general supervision, performs increasingly complex design and programming tasks. Must work as an effective team member.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

• 2+ years programming experience

• Strong programming skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferences

Experience in the following areas:

• Visual C++

• Microsoft Win32 API and Graphical User Interface

• Data communications

• C#, .NET, and/or Java experience

Support Analyst

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to our customers for successful installation, configuration and tuning of our products involving various data communication systems. These environments include networks, mainframes, workstations and servers. On-call emergency support may be scheduled. Light travel may be necessary.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

• 3+ years experience with PC hardware, software, and networks

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Individual who is self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented

Preferences

Experience in the following areas:

• Customer technical support

• Data communications

• Mainframe communications

• SNA gateways
