Barr Systems Offers Document Management Solutions at On Demand Show

New Document Management Solution

At On Demand, Barr will showcase BARR/VKM (Visual Knowledge Manager), an exciting new solution for companies' Internal Report Distribution and Archive and Retrieval needs. This report management system provides online distribution of critical business documents, and reduces printing and distribution costs without changing existing applications. It captures legacy data from the major host data streams and converts it into viewable and printable formats such as HTML and PDF.

Partnering to Offer Network Printing Solutions

Not only will you see Barr at booth #562, you may also notice that we are partnering with printer manufacturers to offer an even wider range of solutions. So, don't be surprised to see a Barr consultant or two at Konica's Host Printing Station in booth #1333. Barr will be demonstrating its Transformation Solutions, which transform legacy print streams into PostScript or PCL to print on Konica's line of network printers.

Barr has also developed a new product specifically to work with Xerox's latest network printing systems. BARR/PRINT to EPS is a new module of the Barr Enterprise Print Server that receives print files from the mainframe and sends them to the Xerox DocuPrint Enterprise Printing Systems (EPS) via TCP/IP.
