GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Barr Systems announces the release of StreamTracer, a software tool that allows high-speed automated print data stream comparison for AFP, Metacode, LCDS, Postscript, and PDF formats. It performs the tedious and labor-intensive task of comparing two print data streams in a fraction of the time of manual comparison.
StreamTracer takes "before" and "after" document snapshots and then displays them side by side. It highlights all document differences with customizable color-coded graphical markers, making it easy to see all document changes and to determine whether they were intended or occurred inadvertently. With changes quickly and accurately isolated, immediate action can be taken to resolve differences and time-to-market is significantly improved.
