PDF / PostScript / PCL to IPDS Conversion: Barr Systems' Solution
Our Barr Enteprise Print Server (BEPS) includes comprehensive support for IPDS printers. It can drive channel-attached IPDS printers via the BARR/PRINT 390 for IPDS module and network-attached IPDS printers via TCP/IP. BEPS also includes the transformation module that allows the conversion from among others, PDF, PostScript, and PCL to IPDS. This conversion is extremely fast, thus allowing you to drive the printers at rated speeds.
BEPS also includes support for conversion from AFP, and is capable of receiving IPDS from the host. It is therefore a complete solution that can enable your IPDS printers for all jobs, regardless of original format.
